Harvesting at Jyllandsringen this weekend

24. September 2025

STEP Motorsport’s young drivers have been working hard all season, and this weekend several of them can reap well-deserved championships in the season finale.

One of the great joys of running a team with a strong focus on talent development is when the young drivers crack the code and the learning curve increases. This has also been the case for STEP Motorsport in the 2025 Nordic 4 season. The season started with a training camp in Spain, where especially the new drivers got to know the cars and the team, and when the season started, the development really began.

Sebastian Bach started the season as the reigning rookie champion, and right from the start, the plan was for the driver to fight for the championship in Denmark and the Nordic countries. He has succeeded quite well, and this weekend he has the opportunity to claim both championships.

Once again in 2025, there is a good chance of seeing a STEP Motorsport driver take the rookie title. Casper Nissen leads the Danish rookie championship after an incredible autumn season, which also saw him take his first race victory at the Night Race. Viktor Snebjørn Poulsen, on the other hand, comfortably leads the Nordic rookie championship. He got off to a great start to the season, taking plenty of points in the Swedish rounds, and after his first race victory at Grand Prix Denmark, Jyllandsringen could well be the place where he picks up even more points for both the overall championship and the rookie championship.

The team championship also looks set to land at STEP Motorsport for the third year in a row, and to add extra spice to the West Jutland team, Sebastian Schou is well placed to secure the Radical Cup Scandinavia championship in his and the team’s first season, while Morten Strømsted can already look forward to winning the Masters category of the class.

A weekend like this naturally puts pressure on the entire team, but Team Manager Morten Dons is not worried about the end of the season:

“It’s been a fantastic season with lots of development, challenges and great progress from the drivers. They have all moved enormously during the season, and their positions in the various championships are proof of that. I hope they all come to Jyllandsringen with their shoulders back and a focus on enjoying the last race of the year – then I think the results will come”, says Morten Dons.

Sunday’s races in both Nordic 4 and Radical Cup Scandinavia can be seen live on Youtube.
